Parlor Guitar
This guitar is an example of fine woodworking and luthier skills. I built the guitar from basic lumber over the course of a semester in a class called "string instrument construction." In order for the guitar to play properly, measurements had to be exact within thousandths of an inch in some cases. A parlor guitar is smaller than a classical acoustic version, with a slightly shorter neck. This instrument is fully functional and has a beautiful, rich sound.
