The Promise

"The Promise" is our Grand Prize winning submission to the Jim Henson Company's "The Dark Crystal" fan film competition. This project was our first attempt at a film and a deeply collaborative effort, spearheaded and directed by Kristin Dalleske.  Ryan Wilkes developed the story and performed multiple roles, and the three of us designed and created all of the original characters throughout the film.  Our Cinematographer, Jason Caz, captured and edited the film to give it a similar tone and feel to Jim Henson's original movie. We have a great team of talented friends, including Sean and Kellee O'Hare, and Josh "Wash" Whitby,  who were absolutely crucial to the success of this film. Together we made it possible to create a lot of magic in a six week time frame!

No Ug- Os!

A 48-Hour Film Festival submission with the Los Angeles Guild of Puppetry, "No Ug-Os!" was a huge collaboration with WHYNOT Productions and our expanding production team, directed by Kristin Dalleske and Cinematography by Jason Caz.  The three elements we needed to include (to prove it was created in 48 hours) were: object- paper, theme- beauty, and action- fall. This single weekend was filled with puppet mayhem and non-stop creative movie magic.  Everyone helped many different aspects to get the film done in timeome of my personal roles were Art Direction, some Assistant Director duties, general production assistant, and design and fabrication of the Alien puppet.  I also made my puppeteering debut in this film: I performed the pink monster named "Panky."
